Worship

You are always welcome to pray with us in this special place.

There is a sung service at St Peter’s every Sunday, normally at 11am, but on the 3rd Sunday of the month, there’s a short Family Service instead at 9.30am. On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, there is a quiet Communion at 8am as well. Most services take place in the comfort and intimacy of the re-ordered monastic Chancel. Morning Prayer is said in the church every weekday at 8.45am

St Peter's shares a vicar and curate with neighbouring churches St Michael's Claverdon and All Saints Preston Bagot, parishes originally 'planted' by the Saxon monks of Wootton. They are Canon Lawrence Mortimer and the Revd Cathy Davies.

To find out all that is going on in these parishes, go to http://www.churchesofarden.org.uk/. There you will also be able to download the Wootton Wawen magazine with details of current church and village events.
